4 first time Major winners

It failed to register with me until I heard the color commentators talking about the fact that with Jimmy Walker's win today, all four majors this year were won by 1st Major winners.  And I think each of the runner ups was a prior Major winner.  I must say, it was impressive today seeing the leaders play 36 holes and to see Jimmy hold on and win.  I'm happy for him.  I thought he was going to give it away there at the end but he was good all week from 3-4 feet so glad that last one fell.

Jason Day sure made it

Jason Day sure made it exciteing at the end when he holded his putt for an Eagle on 18 to get within ONE of the lead. All of a sudden Walder's 3 shot lead was down to only one and things got tense. Walker was going to hit an iron on his second shot on 18 but when Day recoreded that eagle, he changed his mind and pulled out a metal wood and went for the green in two. As it turned out Jimmy made his par for the win but it could have been completely different if he had made bogey and they had to have a play off, which would have been a THREE hole playoff the next day, as it was too dark to hold it Sunday. Have to feel a little sorry for all the players and caddies that had to play 36 holes on Sunday on a wet course. On 7400 yard par 70 course that makes for a LOT of walking and I'm sure the feet and legs were getting a bit tired at the end of it all.

Putting is easy if you have the Right Putter.
