Merry Christmas to you as well Scomac.

I would also like to thank everyone for following us to the new site. I appreciate everyone's help and feedback on the new site. Maybe we can start to find ways in 2014 to attract some new contributors to the site. it would be nice to have some new blood here on a regular basis.

But many thanks to you all for staying onboard.

Dorf on Golf

So I did get the DVD set for Tim Conway's Dorf on Golf. Some of these are available on YouTube like here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEig1D4sJdI

If you haven't seen some of these, they are worth a watch.

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday!

Santa brought a lot of fun gifts for my daughter, and also I took my 4yo daughter to Disneyland for her first time. Needless to say, she loved it and wants to go again.

Practice like you play. Play like you practice.

I don't normally hit a sand wedge 170 yards. But when I do, it's from a greenside bunker.

Disney = Home Run

Glad you and your family had a fun Holiday. Was it crowded down there? I'm trying to figure out when to take my son, he's 8 and has never been. I wanted to wait until he was old enough to really enjoy it and be able to ride a bunch of stuff. I've heard that week after Christmas is a good week to go.

Our youngest was 8 when we went in 1999. WE went in the last week of November during the Millennium celebration. It was busy as heck back then, but that seems to be a good time to head south weather wise as you avoid the hurricanes and it's still quite warm.

The worst time to go is Christmas day thru New Year Day.

It wasn't as crowded as I had expected on Christmas Eve. We got there at 8am opening, and headed straight to the Little Mermaid ride in California Adventure. My daughter is in the "Ariel the Mermaid" phase now, switching back and forth with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. So after the ride, we went back on it again... and again, and again.

Also went to the Disney Jr and Aladdin show.

Best time to visit Disneyland is now in January. So take your son and family there. It really is the "Happiest place on earth."
