You've all seen it..Tiger arrested for DUI...Man that made headlines didn't it? I guess because it's TIGER, it's makes headlines. But I saw this today;
Following Tiger Woods' arrest on a DUI Monday, golf legend Jack Nicklaus is hoping for the best for the 41-year-old.
"I feel bad for Tiger," Nicklaus said, per Golf Channel's Nick Menta. "Tiger’s a friend. He’s been great for the game of golf. He needs our help. I wish him well."
So, first off I love Jack. I do. But why does Tiger need our help? Based on what we know, he had a medication issue that cause his DUI...yes, we all read the bottles of pain meds ( i take them for my back) which say could causy drowsiness, don't drive. And sometimes we think we can handle it and we can't. Never happened to me but clearly it was an issue for Tiger. Thankful, so Thankful no one got hurt and it didn't cause him to fall asleep and drive into a populated area. So this ended the best way it probably could have for Tiger. Even with the negative publicity.
But why exactly does Tiger need our help? I feel bad for him too, just like I would anyone in that situation. But I just don't feel worse for him than I would anyone else. I see this as something Tiger will control easily without "us" so...????
Maybe I have the wrong perspective on it, but I dislike all the sensational media headlines these days trying to garner attention...
