Top notch quality.
I do like the look of Callaway clubs. yeah, they're a little thicker than the Mizuno players irons, but they do give you some confidence when you setup to the ball. These are supposed to be more like the older X Tour irons, which I play, and they do feel very similar. A solid hit is very soft off the face. Distance is about the same as my older models. Forgiveness was maybe a little better than my older ones. The day I used these, I wasn't swinging my best since it's very early in the season. but shot still stayed near in the fairway.Fairly easy to draw the ball with a decent swing. Even with my rusty swing the ball still tried to fly back to the center of the fairway.
About the only thing was price. With many manufacturers coming out with $500 sets of good irons, $800 is a little pricey. Otherwise, nice clubs
great irons, but similar to the older X Tours. To save a significant amount, one could look to find a good conditioned set of X Tours and still get very similar quality irons. but if you're looking for the latest and greatest, these should be considered.
