The quality is as good as anything out their. I have not had one problem with these. The great things about these is that they are forged and easy to bend to get the lie angle you need, so they are easy to custom fit. Also Golfsmith are very helpful in helping you decide on the right shaft and grips and any other questions you may have.
I have a set of Golfsmith Pro Forged Blades 3-lw with TT dynalite gold stiff shafts. I without a doubt love these clubs. They are so easy to hit and as forgiving as my Ping I-3. the ball flight is about medium hight and you can work the ball left or right with ease. The feel great, you know where you hit on the club face and you don't get that stinging feel on mishits like you do on older forgings. The looks on them are close to what Mizunos look like. A nice clean simple look. The price on this set is great, you can build these for under $400, nearly half of what a big name company would charge. And the quality is great, if you did a blind test you would be hard pressed to find a major difference between these and other sets at almost twice the price. Also looking down at adress at these clubs gives me the confidence that I will hit a good shot.
If you like offset then this are not for you. There is very little on all the irons.
If you always wanted a set of blades but was unsure of you ability to hit a blade, then these are the club for you. Easy to hit and feels great. All you have to do is put a half decent swing on it and the club will do the rest. For the first time in a long while I am not looking for a new set of irons.
