They use some kind of black anodized finish that is as hard as nails. Really hard to scuff.
I had heard from some of the staff that it was long, so I gave it a try. On the range it was consistently straight as an arrow, but how would it do on my favorite course? I bought it and played with it that day. It BLEW me away! LOOOOOOOOOOONG and uncannily straight. I creamed my old 'longest distance on this hole' on 5 out of the 7 driving holes I had. Unreal. It makes a 'Plonk!' sound when hit, but it makes your opponents go oooooooohhhhhhh.........
The bulky square head takes some getting used to, but after a few monster drives, you'll get over it.
You want super straight accuracy and another 20 to 30 yards longer than you currently drive the ball? If so, then give this monster a shot.
