Excellent quality. Solid feel.

Pros:

The Ping G25 Fairway Wood, is the highest MOI fairway wood in Ping's line, and features a slightly larger head design with a traditional shape that is easy to align with the target. The charcoal non-glare finish helps with alignment and inspires confidence.

Extreme variable-thickness face
Extreme variable-thickness face creates an efficient energy transfer for faster ball speeds and greater distance. The face is slightly taller than G20 (1.31" vs. 1.27").

Low-profile, forgiving design
Mass low in the clubhead positions the CG low and back for higher launch and increased forgiveness (especially on shots hit low on the face, the most common "mis-hit").

One of the easiest to hit fairway woods. Excellent out of good lies and bad. Sets up square. If you are looking for something that is pretty darn long, straight, and forgiving, then this is the stick for you. Higher-lofted woods have a similar flight to mid- or short irons, but with distance that you'd equate to a fairway wood; the 3-wood is long, straight and penetrating off the deck; woods cut through the rough like a hybrid.

Cons:

Some reviews have commented that they prefer a more compact, workable head.

Summary:

The Ping G25 fairway wood is a great club for almost any level of golfer. Forgiving and excellent distance and accuracy. One of the easiest to hit fairway woods. The Ping G25 fairway wood is excellent out of good lies and bad. Sets up square. If you are looking for something that is pretty darn long, straight, and forgiving, then this is the stick for you.
