Very sturdy constuction.Nice looking club built for durability.I've played over 200 rounds with them and they only have normal ball striking marks.
The Tommy Armour 845 irons are ideal for golfers of all handicaps, they are easy to hit have a nice true trajectory and are very forgiving.I switched to the 845's about 5 years ago and havent considered getting a different set, there is simply no reason to, for $299.00 you cant go wrong. The very affordable irons have allowed me to spend money on more important things like greens fees, they will improve your handicap in only a few rounds,I feel they are all you really need. I see alot of golfers with $1000.00 clubs and a 2cent swing. With the Tommy Armours you just plain get a bargain. If you can't already tell I love these irons since I bought them I've went from a 15 handicap to a 9 and it is steadily dropping. The irons, once you get used to the slightly heavy feel will feel like an extension of your arm and before you know it you'll be hitting your irons farther and more accurate than ever. They are easy to get up in the air and also easy to work the ball in any direction. In closing the 845's are once again a great bargain and a set of irons you cant go wrong with.
There's not much negative to say the only thing negative I can say is I wished i switched to them earlier.
Do yourself a favor, buy the affordable irons and go play some golf.
