The construction of this set is pretty good. The sole does get scuffed up quickly.
The ex-3 irons have a great feel when you hit them in the center of the face. They are quite light and this is good for distance but bad for feel.
The problem with these irons is you need to hit them in the center of the face to get a good hit. In order to do this you need to take a divot in most lies unless you have a fluffy lie. It's hard to make a divot with these irons becuse they are to light and to bulky. This is a problem with many of the hybrid iron sets. Unfortunatly I do not recommend this set of irons for this reason.
If you don't hit in the center of the face these irons are not forgiving and you hit it thin and lose distance. I prefer a more solid construction iron that makes a much more effortless divot.
