DON
2019 U.S. OPEN

I jyst looked at the stankdings after the first 2 rounds of the OPEN and it looks like Brooks is 5 back at the half way mark. One thing they just showed on TV was how the beginning of the course plays much easier than the last part. As of Friday, the first 7 holes has played a combined score for the field of 21 UNDER. Then holes 8 through 18 have played a combined 527 OVER. What a difference that is. I can see how it's going to get interesting as the day goes on this weekend, especilly on Sunday late in the round.

Yeah...there was a stretch on

Yeah...there was a stretch on the front where if you were going to make a move that was the place to do it.  I think like hoels 4-8 or something.  But then I saw guys go out and get on a roll on the back and make some birdies.   Kutchar almost eagled 18 twice!

I guess Wilson might get a little more credit now since Woodland was a Wilson guy.   Looks like he only played Wilson iron's but he hit them well...and long.  I've always loved Wilson irons...nice to see them get a big win.  Here's what was in his bag:
