Have a pair of Footjoy DNA golf shoes about a year old..maybe a year and a half. I was going to change the spikes and saw that the spikes on each outer heel were worn so bad I couldn't actually change the spike. the outer edge of the sole was sort of gone. Anyway, took them to my club and the Pro said he'd talk to the Footjoy rep...that they sell enough FJ's that they should do something. So hopefully they will. I was walking a lot before the injury but still I've never seen any wear out like that on the sole of the shoe. Maybe they'll swap me something else. It was about a $150 pair of shoes..so surprised they wore like that.

Worth a shot to ask, FootJoy is a good brand and it is possible they will do something for "good will" if nothing else!

If you do not get help from your club person, I'd recommend you contact FootJoy directly. I had a problem with a pair of their shoes and they took care of the problem for me. I had TWO pairs of FootJoy shoes that I really liked a lot, Then I purchased a third pair in the SAME size and they didn't fit right and they hurt my feet before the turn. So I called FootJoy and was told the problem was that the first two pair were built on the Champion LAST, while the third pair were built using a diffent LAST, and that was why the new pair didin't fit right. AT that point the rep offered to send me a new pair of shoes built with the Champion LAST at no charge to correct the issue, which was pretty nice of them. Made me happy and a fan for life. In case you don't know it. FootJoy uses 14 diffent LASTS to build their line of shoes, so not all shoes of the same SIZE will fit the same. You really need to check whick last was used for each pair of their shoes before you buy a new pair.

Thanks Don. I actually called them but it was after hours for their customer service and I didn't get them. Then I thought about going through the club. So we'll see what happens.

Well it is resolved. I went to the club house Friday to re-up my membership for another year...and our Pro said: "don't I have a pair of shoes back there to send back of yours?" I said "Yes". He said; Just pick you out a new pair over there and I'll get them comp'd. That's actually easier since your style isn't being made now. I said "really?" he said "Sure". So I grabs a brand new pair of Footjoy Contour which is what I always bought before the DNA style I tried. So I thanked him and left a happy customer!
