Well I admit, if I go to the range or to golf, I just deal with the pain. Like tomorrow, I have bowling league. I put up with it though thursday I'll really hurt. But to your question...it can. Sometimes walking is fine...other times I feel the heal pain and have to take it easy. I try to stretch it and roll the heal over a hard ball... Have a podiarty appt end of the month so we'll see if it gets any better before then. Or what they suggest I do. thing is, I'm a pretty active person...so resting it is going to be hard...
Got to the range today, I made sure I could work at home to take advantage of a sunny day in the 50's and it was nice - went around 1pm. Hit every club in the bag except the 7i, which isn't back from Ping repair dept yet (should have it end of the week). Some good enough swings after loosening up. Facing into the low winter sun, I didn't see all the shots, TBH. Some warm days next week, so maybe I can sneak out again and keep some of the rust off before we go to Myrtle Beach in the end of March.
Went to the range today around noon, it was close to 50 degrees, we are playing on Monday since my office is closed and it's going to be mid-50's, so "game on"! I have to remember to stay behind the ball when hitting driver so my hands can lead, I hit some good shots, nice and high, not blocks - pretty straight. Misses were low/left from turning and yanking the arms through. Irons pretty decent, still need some focused work on 4W off the deck, not hitting it solidly. If weather permits before we leave for our trip in March, might see about a little tune up lesson.
Went to the range today since the weather was pretty mild. Need to get my swings in before vacation coming up in 2 weeks. I'm struggling with hitting my 4w off the deck, still. Then when I switched to the hybrid, that was bad (probably getting in my head). I'm hitting my irons well. At this point, I may just keep the clubs in the garage for 2 weeks (unless I can squeeze in a lesson before leaving) so I don't have negative energy.

Golf is a game that can only be played...
